All of his villas are located in what was the Venetian Republic territory, now northeastern Italy. It is a journey in the time and in the space: starting from Padova, birth town of Palladio and place where he began to develop the concept of villa as country farmhouse, moving to Vicenza, core centre of his artistic activity, wandering through the Treviso province, in whose scenery there are some amazing mature Palladian works of art. The tour touches also some beautiful historical hamlets like Arquà Petrarca and Asolo and the world-known cities of Venezia and Verona, where local wines and savor cicchetti can be tasted.
