New year’s eve in the Dolomites

Special for excursionists and lovers of nature: 3 days 2 nights half board treatment in a mountain shelter at 2.050 mt. height. You will share views so much appreciated and frequented by the Italian writer Dino Buzzati and the American writer Hemingway. Wonderful excursions through a unique environment of the Ampezzo Dolomites in the Veneto, surrounding the little jewel of Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Scenically very rewarding, indeed extraordinary excursions with snowshoes: Cima Ambrizzola, Croda da Lago, Lago di Federa, Croda del Becco, Croda Rossa, monte Cristallo, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Gruppo del Sorapiss, Becco de Mezzodì, monte Pelmo, monte Civetta, Marmolada, monte Cernera, monte Formin, with skilled professional local Mountain guide.

Day 1

Meeting in Cortina d’Ampezzo with the Mountain Guide and transfer of about 40 min. by Snowmobile to the first Alpine hut (1.800 mt) where you can have a nice typical mountain lunch à la carte. After lunch you will reach your shelter (2.050 mt) by snowshoeing for about 45 min. Arrangement in your rooms. Excursion with your Mountain guide by sunset: the typical pink color of the Dolomites. For people who might wish a night excursion , the Mountain guide is at disposal to take you for a short walk in the night.

Day 2

Departure with your Mountain guide for an interesting excursion. When you will reach the goal point you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Civetta, Pelmo, Tofane, Cinque Torri and the vally of Cortina. A 360° incredible view! We suggest a packed lunch. Return to the shelter in the late afternoon and dinner.

Day 3

Morning departure with your Mountain Guide for an excursion in the area returning back downstream. We suggest a packed lunch.
