3 days discovering the wonders of the Venice Lagoon, that will surprise you with its unique colors and rich nature inhabited by plants and animals, some of which are in danger of extinction. Besides breathtaking natural sights, you’ll also enjoy an authentic Venice through its archaeological sites, historical and architectural monuments, all testimony to the story of the peoples who have lived in the Lagoon for centuries. A spectacular sunset over the Lagoon awaits you from your first day. You’ll cruise around islands such as San Servolo, San Clemente and Poveglia, and the fishing villages of San Pietro in Volta and Pellestrina. You’ll discover the “peociere”, farms where mussels are cultivated, and the “casoni”, traditional fishermen’s shelters built on water. You’ll also reach Chioggia, a fascinating maritime town considered the little Venice due to its characteristic houses that line the canals. The return to Venice will involve cruising along the Lido inlet and visiting the islands of Burano and Torcello. Departures are on Thursdays with the tour ending on Sundays.
